Thoughts: This is a team with limited talent.

Ramirez is expected to fill the fifth rotational slot, but the addition of Liddi gives them three third basemen and no effective shortstop (Ryan: .248) or second baseman (Jack Wilson).

Recommendations: David Wright’s replacement is on this team. His name is Alex Liddi.

This is the kind of team you can offer your entire minor league system (minus Matt Harvey, Zack Wheeler, Jeurys Familia and Jenrry Mejia), plus a fair share of your 25-man, for Liddi ... they get to pick four.

Let’s say … 2B Daniel Murphy, SS Jordany Valdespin, SP Akeel Morris, and OF Darrell Cecilliani.

This then gives the Mets to shop Wright for what they want, rather than what they need.
