Commissioner Bud Selig will be extended for at least two years this week at the owners' meetings, tweets ESPN's Buster Olney. Selig became MLB's acting commissioner in 1992, and the title became official in 1998.
Boy, I didn't want to open this email from Erik.
In Mets terms, this means Sandy Alderson remains the Mets GM for two more years.
It also puts the skids on the sale rumors.

Once they hired that firm, I kind out of felt a sale wasn't in the cards. Here's hoping all the prospects pan out
