did NOT pass the CF test on Sunday. His bat continues to impress the staff but
he played two routine plays very badly and it was obvious that he simply doesn’t
have the speed or talent to roam center. Andres Torres has already showed he’s
human, Captian Kirk is dinged and Matt den Dekker just simply isn’t ready. That
leaves the Mets with no other centerfielder, so expect someone to be signed
this week.
