Mack, are these guys assigned to specific Minor League teams or just "Minor League Camp." I guess the more general question is,"Are Min League Rosters being set at this time?" (Bingo has a ST game tomorrow, no?)

First of all, happy birthday to the real Hobie today.

No, none of the minor league rosters are set yet.

Members of the 40-man are "reassigned" but they still can be used in parent ST games.

The non 40-man players are "optioned"

Rosters aren't finalized until the day they ship out and sometimes they even make changes enroute.

I remember Emrey Frederick being sent to Savannah for a second season... I met him when he arrived and he was told ten minutes to go back to the airport and report to St. Lucie.

I usually sneak in the clubhouse a few days early and look what names are being written on the stalls.
