Mets Walkoff and Sweep Marlins with a 3-2 WIN

The New York Mets (10-7) defeated the Miami Marlins (7-11) by a score of 3-2.

Jon Niese turned in a stellar pitching performance.
Heath Bell came into the game with a 2-1 Marlins lead only to walk four and give up the game winning double to Mets rookie sensation Kirk Nieuwenhuis.

The Mets will begin a three game series in Colorado tonight at Coors Field. Chris Schwinden will start the game in place of Mike Pelfrey (Tommy John Surgery) against Rockies young stud lefty Drew Pomeranz. Gametime is 8:40 PM ET

I leave you with the picture of the game.... ENJOY!!

What a great shot of Reyes.

Good write up. Let's hope we can handle the Rockies...their bats have come alive recently. Pomeranz might be tough.
