Bradenton 6, St. Lucie 3

Cory Vaughn went 2-for-4 and hit his 16th home run, but the Mets fell to the Bradenton Marauders 6-3 on Saturday at Digital Domain Park.
Vaughn drilled a solo home run to left in the fourth inning to cut the deficit to 2-1.
Zach Lutz ripped a solo blast to right to cut the deficit to 6-2 in the ninth. Richard Lucas delivered an RBI single to score Vaughn to make it 6-3.
Angel Cuan allowed four runs and six hits over seven innings with five strikeouts and two walks.  Gift Ngoepe hit a pair of home runs off Cuan and drove in three runs. Alex Dickerson also drove in three runs, as he launched a two-run homer off John Church to give Bradenton a 6-1 lead in the eighth inning.
 Church allowed two runs and three hits over two innings with one walk and one strikeout.
Alonzo Harris went 2-for-4 to also pace the Mets offense.
The Mets will look to bounce as they visit Bradenton on Sunday at Digital Domain Park.  Tyler Pill is the scheduled starter for the Mets. The game is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
