The Met Fan in Vegas

First off, I'd like to thank Mack for inviting me to contribute to his blog. I've been a Met fan my whole life, and though I've lived happily in Las Vegas since 2006, it's been disheartening to have not seen the Amazins' play live since the days of Shea...until now! With season tickets and low, low general admission prices, I'll be at Cashman Field all season, observing and reflecting on our Futures, as well as the Met Fandom world in Sin City, which is far different from New York. I don't take myself too seriously, and love to joke about the perils of being a Met fan. I will never mean any disrespect to fans or the team; however, if you can't appreciate the art of sarcasm and laughing at oneself, why pay attention? Look forward to words, laughs, the future, and above all, lots of baseball!! Go Mets!

Welcome, Daria. Looking forward to lots of first hand commentary on the progress, or lack thereof, of our AAA farm hands this year. Perhaps you can help enforce the 4:00 AM curfew Wally Backman has placed on all of the younger kids on the way up. Do your casino sweep and get the kids to bed. And although we all know that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, we hope that it doesn't apply to our prospects. Let's see a few of them in Citifield later this year.
