Great for Danny. Please play him every day.

The Reynolds/Herrera hit machine rolls on with 5 more combined hits. Unstoppable. Until the stop by Citifield, that is.

Continued kudos to Vicente Lupo (2 more hits to add to his surge of the past 2-3 weeks).

I did note our Brooklyn boys played in NYPL All Star game last night. Our 3 pitchers (Molina, Oswalt, Bay) did not allow a run, and our 3 hitters (Rosario, Bernal, Urena) each went hitless in their at bat. No Conforto.

Lupo has been a very nice surprise after struggling last year and the beginning of this year. His recent numbers look like the monster year he had in the DSL and if he were to flash that talent, he would definitely join Becerra as a rising prospect. Wonder if they might skip Brooklyn next year for those two guys and move them to Savannah to see if they might be able to accelerate their timeline. That would be an OF consisting of Comforto, Becerra and Lupo to start. Comforto may go right to STL, but could start with the Gnats, so it would be nice to see some bopping talent at the full season level.
