Thoughts:

The Angels have spent the most more so far in the off-season.

Almost one-third of their 25-man squad becomes free agents at the end of the 2012 season.

Recommendations:

It’s obvious that the Angels have, at least, one too many first basemen in their system. They also have too many outfielders and second basemen ready start in 2012.

The obvious trade here would be Jon Niese for Burjos (forget Trout) and Amarista.
